Original Trade Goods was founded in 2006 by Eric Scott Bresselsmith as an avenue to trade Himalayan Salt. Since then a living based on wild crafted herbs and distillation of essential oil has taken on a life of it's own. Original Trade Goods is proud to bring quality goods to our community.
I am working on getting images uploaded, pay-pal buttons, walking the dogs, keeping the still running (that includes gathering!) and distributing essential oil. Our distillation operation is a one man operation with an occasional apprentice. Mechanized tools are not commonly used. This is why our essences stand out amoungst the flood of "therapeutic" essential oils you will find all over the internet. Keeping the plant material as uncomprimised as possible assures the slow and gentle release of the plants active molecular structure. Wild gathering in remote places guarentees plants are free from human toxins.

Grindelia "Gum Weed" harvested in August to early September. This gathering happened just after heavy Summer rains in August 2010. A powerful respritory ally. Very little of this precious essnece available.
