About Us

Original Trade Goods is a family owned and operated company. We came into being in Sedona, Arizona in 2003 and began selling Persian Carpets & Himalayan Crystal Salt as well as marketing original art and music from our home.

In 2004, we relocated to Boulder, UT and, from 2005 thru April of 2008, we leased the Hills & Hollows Mini Mart. During those three years, we started our auxillary company Mama Cyta's Bakery.

Currently, we reside in Boulder and are working on a variety of projects. Keep posted to find out what we'll move onto next. Meet Jennifer Bach, Original Trade Goods' manager and webmistress. After earning an M.F.A. in Costume Design for Theatre at Penn State University, Jennifer found herself in Boulder, UT, where she met Eric and Cynthia. Utilizing her artistic skills and computer training, she became the resident graphic design artist for OTG. Collaborating with Eric on the website concept and text, Jennifer built (and continues to maintain) the OTG website. She also co-designed the Original Trade Goods logo with Eric, and has lent her artistic skills to the pen & ink drawing of Hills & Hollows found on many of the store's publications.
