Raphael Scott dicovered his proclivity for flint knapping at a very early age (12). Taking inspiration from points found around the area in which he lives (SW Utah), Raphael began experimenting with shaping stones. Before long, he developed a few basic techniques for making points. Taking guidance from some experienced knappers in the area, Raphael was off and running. Since then he has attended several survival skills gatherings (www.backtracks.net)  and has garnered a reputation for being a skilled flint knapper, often assisting world renowned instructors with their workshops.
